Review

This review applies to version 6.4 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

AC3D is a very useful 3D modeling program with which you will be able to create complete objects and sceneries in three dimensions, in an easy, simple and efficient way. This amazing program will become an excellent utility when you have to develop your 3D projects, because it will allow you to create any image from scratch, or modify any model that you already have on your PC.

AC3D will let you create polygons with a minimal number of vertexes. This is possible thanks to its built-in fast OpenGL 3D renderer, which will let you develop a high quality project in a short time.

This useful program has an easy-to-use and intuitive interface. On the left side, you will find a complete control panel, where the main controls and draw modes are located. It also contains the surface-type controls, the palette of materials and the object name field.

But, undoubtedly, one of the main features of AC3D is its compatibility with other 3D modeling programs, like 3D Studio, Lightwave, POV-Ray or LDraw. In this way, you can import/export projects from and to those programs.

Definitely, if you want to create professional 3D projects, then I highly recommend you to try AC3D.
Advantages
  • Easy-to-use interface.
  • 4 small windows to see your model from different angles.
  • A manual included.
Disadvantages
  • None.
